Michael is a classically trained artist, who earned multiple degrees in the arts and sciences. Following his graduation from LaGrange College, he opened Aperture Studios based out of Atlanta, producing works for magazines, modeling agencies and commercial firms. In the mid 90’s, he was called to join the US Army, were he would work both as a Soldier and Civilian, stationed in Germany for, for 25-years. During this time, he wore many hats such as Soldier, Operations Officer, geo-political analyst, and BRAC officer. After his retirement, he became a therapist for a art skills based university. During this time, he used the opportunities afforded him, to travel and practice the art of photography, becoming Internationally Published with multiple books, publications and awards to his name. Michael’s publisher calls his work “thought provoking” as it blends both American and European influences, “creating pure and angelic representations of time and emotion”.

Currently Michael is focusing upon personal and spiritual projects, addressing the pressing issues of his life, through the lens.
